🎭 July 28th, 2025 – International Casting Update: SAG-AFTRA Compliance
We’re thrilled to share that Perhaps Love, with a production budget of 1.5M CHF, qualifies under the SAG-AFTRA Low Budget Agreement. This allows us to collaborate with talented union actors, while retaining the creative freedom and production flexibility of an independent film.
Even though we are filming entirely outside of the U.S. and Canada, we are still eligible to work with SAG-AFTRA and ACTRA performers, provided we follow the appropriate international signatory processes. We’ve reviewed these requirements and are prepared to handle all union compliance professionally.
This means we can cast deeply skilled, emotionally resonant actors, the kind of performers who can carry the poetic weight and vulnerability of Perhaps Love with authenticity and depth.
Behind the scenes, we’re building a production that honors artistry while meeting professional standards. Every step forward brings us closer to the film we dream of making, with quality, soul, and truth.
🎭 July 20, 2025 – The cast is coming together
Today, we had an amazing audition for the role of Victor, and we’re thrilled to welcome him on board. He is a Spanish actor, well-known for his work in television. We’ll keep you updated and will eventually share the full cast once it’s finalized. Stay tuned!

We’ve just added the option to receive real revenue share through our new Executive Producer and I am the Character tiers.. for those who want to leave a lasting imprint, both emotionally and financially.

🎭 JULY 10, 2025 – Filming Rights Secured: Emergency Rescue Scene
We’re thrilled to announce that we have officially secured the filming rights for the emergency rescue and Jet sequence in Switzerland.
This powerful scene marks a critical emotional and visual moment in Perhaps Love, and being able to film it on location, with the support of real facilities, planes, and landscapes, brings us one step closer to honoring the truth and beauty of this story.
Switzerland’s alpine clarity, logistical precision, and deep cinematic potential are now part of our journey, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
This isn’t just a scene. It’s where survival turns into surrender. And where silence becomes grace.

🎭 JULY 5th, 2025 – Reaching Out to Our Dream Cast — and More
A quiet milestone: we’ve begun reaching out to the artists we envision at the heart of Perhaps Love.
This step is both exhilarating and humbling, opening the door to collaborations we once only dreamed of. While we won’t name names, we’re honored to be in touch with a number of incredible actors and creatives whose work has inspired us deeply.
Whether or not these conversations take root, this moment marks the project stepping into the world, not just as a script, but as a shared vision.
